Bussfest 2026

Bussfest 2026 will take place on 17/7 12:00 - 19/7 12:00 at Merry Camping, Merikarvia, Finland

Please register using the form below and pay directly after registration using the payment information you recieve in your confirmation email. We have a limited amount of space so we recommend that you register as soon as possible.

The price for the event is SEK 900/bus for two nights, SEK 450/bus for one night, including electricity. A membership fee of SEK 350 will be charged for new members and for those that have not paid their membership yet 2025.

This year's theme: Country!

At this year's Bussfest we will have a country theme, which will be noticeable in the music at Bussfest with, among others, Silverball and Larry Peninsula coming to play in connection with Bussfest on Friday.

Larry Peninsula is a country artist from Oulu who now lives in Helsinki. In October 2025, Larry Peninsula, one of the leading Finnish country artists, was awarded the "Rising Star of the Year" award at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards, USA. Larry Peninsula's critically acclaimed debut album "Country Music Only" gained great visibility and new loyal fans both in Finland and abroad. In addition to Finland, Larry, who is building an international career, has performed in the USA, Germany, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden and the Canary Islands. Larry's music has been played on Finnish radio stations and around the world. He has also been mentioned in two books about country music.

Larry has performed with many industry legends such as Mikko Alatalo, Jussi Syre & The Groundreabers, Jussi Raittinen and Marko Haavisto, and has been the opening act for Grammy winner Redd Volkaert, Drake Milligan and Ward Hayden & The Outliers, among others. Larry is currently working on his second album with experienced producer Tom Frisk. The album will be released in late 2026. Peninsula also plays in the bands The Finnish Highwaymen and Werewolves Of Helsinki. The band consists of Timo Kanerva (bass, vocals), Ari Hujanen (drums) and Jussi Salminen (pedal steel).

Shuttle taxi between Merry Camping and Merry Monk/Krookka port

The distance between Merry Camping and Krookka harbor, where Merry Monk and the seaside stage are situated, is 2,4 km. A fair amount of waddling for tired legs.

In order to facilitate Bussfest participants´ mobility and to reduce congestion at Krookka parking area, NT2K has arranged a shuttle taxi transport option on the evening of Friday the 17th of July. This is a one night only venture.

The Bussfest -labeled taxicabs will not take on the journey until all of the 8 seats in the vehicle are occupied at each end of the leg. This decision has been taken in order to minimize the environmental hazard of exhaust fumes.

Tickets will be on sale at NT2K´s information tent for 35 SEK /one way. NO other payment will be accepted by the drivers.
